8 Weeks Online & Once a Month Hands On

You are in the right place if...

You want to dive deeper into growing flowers.

You learn best by getting information in multiple ways--online videos, workbook, and hands on.

You want to join a community of creative gardeners.

In the SHEGROWS Apprenticeship Program, Gina Schley takes committed gardeners through a season of growing flowers. By experiencing flower gardening on a larger scale, apprentices are able to participate with a team of gardeners to practice concepts in real life helping them to better understand coursework so they can implement in their own gardens.

Join flower enthusiasts from around the world who have found enjoyment in the study of flowers. From forcing bulbs for winter enjoyment, all the way through designing with dainty spring flowers, infusing fragrant summer blooms and herbs, to sharing the abundance of lush flowers in the fall. Learning to grow flowers is a hobby that will weave through all seasons of life.

Enrollment in the SHEGROWS Apprenticeship Program only happens once a year.

Dig Deeper with a Community of Flower Enthusiasts

The SHEGROWS Apprenticeship Program is experiential learning style where students first learn online, then come to the garden to learn in person with a small community of gardeners. Students work in the garden once a month from March through September, and stay connected to fellow apprentices throughout the season through our SHEGROWS online communities and weekly volunteer opportunities.

Learn Gardening Principles that Transform Your Life

Clarity.  Use time tested strategies to gain clarity on your garden goals. Sifting through all the different reasons you might garden and why you want to garden, will help you not only clarify your garden goals but will also help you get clear on your personal strengths and the season of life you are in.

Courage. Get guidance, encouragement, and support to take big steps towards your garden goals. Ask questions, have a team of people to lean on, and move forward with courage.

Confidence. Learn the step by step process that Gina still uses today to start each new season like it's the first. When you start something from scratch, and finish the season to completion, you realize you are more capable than you ever thought you were. This repetition will grow confidence and transcends into other areas of your life.

Community. Make lifelong friendships with other like minded gardeners, stay connected through the seasons, and cultivate a more meaningful life with a community you love.
